We have been named the 2015 Chamber of the Year by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE). We accepted the honor on August 12, at ACCE’s 2015 Annual convention in Montreal. (I’m proud and humbled to say I also accepted the ACCE’s Chairman’s Award – as if having one of the best jobs in the region wasn’t reward enough…)
The judging process for Chamber of the Year took a number of areas into account, including organizational excellence, member services and connections, and programs/initiatives. Among other aspects, our application highlighted our branding initiative, our talent and workforce initiative, and the array of growth-focused services we offer, including THRIVE and YourBizAssist.com.
This award is a testament not only to our hard-working Chamber team but also to our thousands of members and the steady support of our community partners, and we are eager to share the distinction with you. Without your support, we wouldn’t be the organization we are today – a catalyst for growth and positive change that’s constantly innovating and evolving to provide the best for our members, attract new business and prime talent, and elevate the quality of life throughout the region.
