Thanks for making our 2019 such a fun and fulfilling year! Here’s a look back at LOAA’s year of good cheer.

SUMMER HAPPY HOUR

LO was in the Maha spirit in August when we reconnected over music and warm weather. We shared stories between a few decades of experience and talked shop on the civic horizon for Omaha. Thanks Olsson for a great patio view!

BRUNCH AT THE BIG GARDEN

In late March we got our hands dirty to help The Big Garden get ready for a busy season of helping grow healthy food, healthy kids and healthy communities. It was a family affair that included brunch, education and planting.

DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI AWARD

Many of you attended the LOAA Spring Luncheon to honor Lynda Shafer. This was our first step in honoring alumni who’ve led transformative work in our communities. We will soon accept nominations for next year and will rely on your thoughtfulness to recommend fellow alumni for consideration. An online nomination form will be available January 6 – February 7.
