2016 Omaha Farmers Market Vendor Applications Now Available | Informational Meeting Set for Tuesday, February 9th
Applications are now available for vendors interested in participating in the 2016 Omaha Farmers Market. An informational and registration meeting has been set for Tuesday, February 9th at 7 p.m. This no-obligation meeting will be held at the Westside Community Conference Center at 3534 South 108th Street (108th and Grover streets) in Omaha, NE.
Eligible vendors are those who sell locally-produced products including vegetables, fruits, herbs, bedding plants, flowers, meat, baked goods, jams and jellies, coffees, condiments, organic foods, ethnic foods and much more.
Among the items to be discussed will be the benefits of selling at the Market, product display, pricing, signage and Douglas County Health Department rules and regulations. Also discussed will be the wide range of items approved for sale at the Omaha Farmers Market. Applications and additional information may be printed from the Market’s website at www.omahafarmersmarket.com.
The 2016 Omaha Farmers Market will be held every Saturday, May 7th through October 15th, from 8 a.m. To 12:30 p.m. on the corner of 11th and Jackson in the Old Market, and every Sunday, May 8th through October 16th in Aksarben Village at 67th and Center, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
