“We are an education destination, and our educators are preparing students well to continue their learning right here in the region,” said Dee Baird, senior vice president, economic development, Greater Omaha Chamber.
According to SmartAsset, the average income for teachers in the Omaha-Council Bluffs area increased by 15 percent over the past three years.
At the same time, the number of jobs also increased by 10 percent. Teaching here means access to high-quality schools with hard-working students. According to the study, the area ranked eighth highest for average test scores in math and English.
