The latter drew on the expertise and experience of guest speakers Don Browers, an independent media consultant, and Rose Ann Shannon, retired KETV News Director. They addressed pitfalls to avoid when communicating with the media and how to launch a media response in a crisis situation.
“I don’t think any president or CEO should live without the information they gave out that day,” Gutierrez says. “If I would have had a consulting meeting with those two people, that probably would have been a $2,000 expense.”
The next Boss & Co. breakfast event is coming up on Friday, Nov. 2. The focus is talent.
“I love this program, and I want to see 100 people there,” Gutierrez says.
“There is no reason why presidents and other leaders shouldn’t be getting this amazing information.”
