TOOTHMOBILE BRINGS SERVICES TO NORTH OMAHA CHILDREN

WHAT: Charles Drew Health Center and OneWorld Community Health Centers aare partnering to operate a mobile dental clinic, “Tooth Mobile,” to increase access to quality oral healthcare for the children in Northeast and Northwest Omaha. It is a gift from Ruth and Bill Scott with additional funding from the United Way. The Tooth Mobile will be on location at Kellom Elementary School on October 22, 2015 for the ribbon cutting ceremony.

WHEN/WHERE: Thursday, October 22, 2015 – Kellom Elementary School Gymnasium 9:00 a.m., 1311 N. 24th Street, Omaha, NE

WHY: For a variety of reasons, oral dental care is not available to all children. To provide this care, the “Tooth Mobile” staff from both Charles Drew Health Center and OneWorld Community Health Centers, which includes dentists, a program manager, drivers and dental assistants, will travel to several elementary schools, community organizations and Head Start locations in North Omaha to deliver on-site dental services.
