This accelerated and ranked MBA Program is designed for experienced professionals to earn an MBA while continuing to work full-time.  Classes meet every-other-weekend (all day Friday and Saturday) for 4 semesters with generous summer and winter breaks.

The 17 month program includes two residency weeks and an international trip to China (Shanghai and Beijing).

“Over the years, we’ve had several business leaders from the Omaha metro area participate in this program which is only offered in Des Moines every-other-year,” said Alex Taylor, program administrator.

“What makes this program so compelling is the impressive range of experience and insight each student brings into the classroom to complement the academic material with relevant applications and robust discussions“, continued Taylor.  But don’t take it just from me, here’re a few testimonials from a few of our students and graduates.

The upcoming Des Moines class has representation from companies such as Brownells, Banker’s Trust, Principal Financial, Wells Fargo, Pella Windows, Kemin Labs, Emerson/Fischer Controls, and John Deere to name a few.

The average age of a typical Executive MBA student is approximately 37 years old with 15 years of progressively challenging work experience.

The Executive MBA Program employs a cohort study group approach that assigns each person into small study groups (4 – 5 total members) for the duration of the MBA experience. Each group works together on projects, papers, presentations and activities throughout the program, many of which are drawn from current challenges or opportunities in existing organizations.

This cohort program is fully “catered” to provide food, (breakfasts, lunches), parking, registration, books, materials, and hotel stays for residency week and the international seminar.

The primary requirements to apply for this program are at least 7 – 10 years of tangible work experience with progressive scope and responsibilities; a demonstrated level of organizational/professional leadership;  solid undergraduate (or equivalent) performance and experience.  And in most instances, the GMAT exam and scores are waived.

According to Mr. Taylor, the demand is strong and seats are filling up.  “You won’t be any less busy two years from now, so sign up today to advance your strategic business acumen, skills and professional opportunities for tomorrow.”
