StrategicHealthSolutions, LLC (Strategic) is proud to kick off its continuing education (CE) curriculum for health care professionals with the release of its first course:Buprenorphine – A Primer for Prescribers and Pharmacists. This free online course will introduce buprenorphine as a treatment for opioid addiction and identify regulations and considerations to uphold before prescribing and filling the drug.
“We are thrilled to introduce this new course and launch public access to our CE program” said Linda Beiriger, CE Program Coordinator of Strategic. “Our comprehensive courses will enable health care professionals nationwide to stay current on industry information while earning CE credits in the most efficient and convenient way possible.”
Buprenorphine – A Primer for Prescribers and Pharmacists and all future CE courses are accessible through Strategic’s online training system – The Strategic Institute.
A second course: Controlled Substances – The Pharmacist’s Corresponding Responsibility, will be available for CPE credit in early February, and will seek to address the growing epidemic of prescription drug abuse and diversion. Strategic is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) as a provider of continuing medical education (CME) and by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education (CPE).
