StrategicHealthSolutions, LLC (Strategic), is pleased to announce the promotions of Sara Schmidt and Tom Mathis into new division director roles.  As a Division Director, Schmidt and Mathis will be responsible for staffing, mentoring, utilization management, and training within their division to ensure employee and customer satisfaction.

Sara Schmidt is the new Design and Training Division Director. Schmidt has been with Strategic since 2011, previously serving as the Outreach and Education Coordinator for one of Strategic’s education and training-based contracts. She has over 10 years of experience within the healthcare industry, extensive resource management skills, and proven insight into business development tactics.

“I am thrilled to be working with such a wonderful, talented group of individuals in the design and training division,” Schmidt said. “As the Division Director, I look forward to utilizing the division’s talent and creativity to be innovators for our customers and a resource for future company growth.”

Schmidt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from the University of Nebraska-Kearney and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Nebraska-Omaha.

Tom Mathis is the new Program Management Division Director.Mathis has been with Strategic since 2011, previously serving as the Education and Outreach Expert for Strategic’s design and training division. Tom brings a wealth of knowledge with more than 30 years of management experience in both the public and private sectors.

“Being able to work with my division to develop a mentoring and coaching program for future program managers is very exciting for me,” said Mathis. “I believe that the program managers are the future senior managers of Strategic and I am truly looking forward to helping the team continue the aggressive growth, while supporting the company core values.”

Mathis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Austin Peay State University and is a Certified Fraud Examiner and Certified Business Manager.
