StrategicHealthSolutions, LLC (Strategic), is pleased to announce that John S. Parker, MD, FACS, FCCP, has joined the Executive Board effective May 1, 2015.

Dr. Parker has served more than 39 years with the U.S. Army, attaining the rank of Major General, Medical Corps., and receiving two U.S. Army Distinguished Service Medal awards.

In addition to his impressive service to our country, Dr. Parker is a physician with more than 40 years of experience in clinical practice, as well as the teaching and management of large health care and medical research institutions.

Dr. Parker has held a variety of high profile positions within the industry including Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Chief Medical Officer for SAIC, a large enterprise with $4.1B in revenue and 13,000 employees. Additionally, he held the role of CEO at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center and the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command, the largest medical research and development organization within the Department of Defense with $1.3B in revenue and 4,600 employees.
