Gross & Welch Litigation Paralegal

Seeking a full-time litigation paralegal with emphasis in workers’ compensation.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree.  

Minimum 5 years experience in litigation, preferably workers’ compensation. Must be a self-starter capable of managing a busy case load and working in a team oriented environment. Pay based on experience, competitive salary and excellent benefit package.

JOB DUTIES: Perform complex legal duties which require exercise of independent judgment and application of legal knowledge with oversight by an attorney.  Perform directed and self-initiated research using variety of sources.  Subpoena medical records, organize, prepare medical record timelines & summaries for attorney and clients, medical bills summaries, and compile trial notebooks. Responsibilities also include preparation of discovery responses (answers to interrogatories, responses to request for production and responses to requests for admissions); litigation case organization and preparation; fact finding (including interviewing witnesses); coordination of arrangements for depositions and other duties as assigned.
