RTG MEDICAL DONATES $15,000 IN WREATHS TO VETERAN ORGANIZATION & BECOMES FIRST CORPORATE PARTNER FOR OMAHA CHAPTER
FREMONT, NEBRASKA, December 11, 2017 – RTG Medical, a medical staffing agency headquartered in Fremont, Nebraska, donated $15,000 in the form of 1,000 wreaths to the Omaha and Fremont chapters of Wreaths Across America as part of the company’s Community Partnership Program.
“As a veteran, I am extremely prideful that we have organizations like Wreaths Across America that honor our fallen of the past, gives comfort to friends and family in the present, and serves as an inspirational reminder to future generations. It is with great honor and pride that RTG Medical can play a small part in this mission, and we shall never forget,” said Charlie Janssen, President and CEO of RTG Medical. Janssen served in the U.S. Navy and is a veteran of Desert Storm.
Wreaths Across America is a national organization that supplies wreaths on the tombstones of fallen veterans every December. In 2016, 172 companies delivered more than 350 truckloads of wreaths to be placed on veterans’ gravesites.
RTG Medical is the first corporate partner for the Wreaths Across America Omaha chapter. In recognition of this opportunity, Janssen will serve as this year’s emcee for the Omaha chapter’s wreath laying ceremony held at Omaha National Cemetery on Saturday, December 16th, 2017, at 11 a.m.
