Audience Chooses Songs For This Unique Rock And Roll Revue
Omaha Performing Arts presents Rock Legends with Billy McGuigan in the Scott Recital Hall at the Holland Performing Arts Center on Friday, May 15, at 8 p.m. Tickets are limited and are $35 in advance. Rock Legends is a multi-media rock and roll revue created by the Omaha audience favorite, Billy McGuigan, featuring elements from rock concerts and rock tribute shows. During the performance, audiences can vote – through the power of their applause – for the songs and music they want to hear. Music ranges from the ’50s rock and roll to psychedelic ’60s, groovy ’70s and on into the ’80s. The multi-media show will likely include music by Elvis, Elton John, Billy Joel, The Doors, The Rolling Stones, Buddy Holly, Pink Floyd, Sir Paul McCartney and more. Rock Legends takes on the personality and taste of the audience making each show unique.
For the show, McGuigan will be joined by his brothers, Matthew McGuigan (vocals, bass) and Ryan McGuigan (vocals, acoustic guitar), as well as Jay Hanson (lead guitar/vocals), Rich Miller (percussionist) and Tara Vaughan (vocals, piano).
