New Primrose School at Falling Waters Hosts Grand Opening Event
Event will feature family-friendly activities, a ribbon cutting and school tours
OMAHA, Neb. (January 19, 2017) – Aspiring to make a difference in the lives of Falling Waters and Omaha-area children and their families, Franchise Owner Katie DeSciose will host a grand opening event for local families to celebrate the new Primrose School at Falling Waters on Saturday, January 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The grand opening celebration will feature school tours and family-friendly activities, including face-painting, a visit from a magician, musical entertainment and science presentations. There will also be a giveaway of an iPad air 2. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 10:00 a.m. to officially mark the grand opening of the school.
Katie is excited to bring a new Primrose school to the Falling Waters community. “My goal is for our school to form dynamic partnerships with the families of our students, and it will be a privilege to play a key role in introducing parents to all that Primrose has to offer,” says Katie.
Community Impact
Primrose School at Falling Waters officially opened its doors to students on January 17, and is the third Primrose school in the Omaha area. Adding approximately 35 jobs, the more than 12,000-square-foot school is poised to serve more than 180 local children and their families.
School Features
Primrose School at Falling Waters features 11 private classrooms with wireless technology and 6 secure age-appropriate playgrounds. The school also features a Primrose Patch garden for gardening and nature study activities.
Balanced Learning® Approach
The school offers the Primrose-exclusive Balanced Learning® approach, which blends purposeful play with nurturing guidance from teachers to encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion in children 6 weeks to 6 years old. For students up to age 12, Primrose School at Falling Waters offers the Primrose Explorers after-school program. Additionally, the new school features the Primrose Schools Safe School Plan, which ensures comprehensive safety measures are in place and all staff members are prepared to manage emergency situations.
