14th Annual Success Event – Keeping Score: Are You Winning or Losing?     OMAHA, NE – For 13 years, Revela has had their Annual Success Event in Council Bluffs. This year, with the office move to Omaha, Revela changed the location of their Success Event to the Ralston Arena. The title of this year’s event is “Keeping Score: Are You Winning or Losing?” Andrea Fredrickson will lead the event by having attendees discover ways to improve their relationships with co-workers.   “Let’s face it, we want to be right.  We hate being wrong.  Sometimes when others have opinions that are different than ours we find ways to prove that we are right.  We even start looking for ways to justify how right we are!  But do you know that sometimes we deceive ourselves by creating a case that may not be right?” says Fredrickson. “And at what cost?  Lost trust between co-workers and family members.”   There are four big points that Fredrickson is hoping people take away; Discover how we, as human beings create stories in our minds that justify our ‘rightness’, recognize when you have created this story, learn techniques to reduce the scorekeeping that we naturally do, and to finally, build better relationships with individuals, both personal and professional.     There is no charge to attend this event, but registration is required. You can register @ www.KeepingScore.eventbrite.com or call 712.322.1112.
