Many of the area’s most respected arts and cultural organizations have been selected to participate in Miracle on Farnam 2014, Midtown Crossing’s season-long celebration of creativity, good cheer and authentic holiday pleasures.

Known for its dazzling window displays, this year’s Miracle on Farnam tradition will feature the artistry and imagination of:

· Ballet Nebraska
· The Durham Museum
· Joslyn Castle Trust
· Lauritzen Gardens
· Love’s Jazz and Arts Center
· Omaha Community Playhouse
· Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium
· Omaha Jitterbugs
· SNAP Productions
· KETV (Media Sponsor)

Midtown Crossing shifted to an application process and selected a slimmer field of participants this year, a change triggered by continued retail growth in the development – and fewer available window spaces.

“Based on the applicants’ winning designs, we’re looking forward to an even more focused, fun and creative experience for our Miracle on Farnam guests,” said Molly Skold, VP, marketing and communications, East Campus Realty, LLC., the Mutual of Omaha subsidiary that owns Midtown Crossing.

Miracle on Farnam 2014 is set to launch with a Family Fun Day on Nov. 22 – and run through Jan 1, 2015. On-site voting will determine the winner of three major prizes (a grand prize, second prize and third prize) this year. A panel of celebrity judges will award additional prizes in a variety of categories.
Midtown Crossing is shifting the center of gravity in Greater Omaha – leading the revival of a historic community – bringing the town back to midtown. Experience a walkable neighborhood worthy of 26 “Best of Omaha” awards (2014) and a boldness that blends luxury condos and unique concepts – from innovative, affordable restaurants to boutique shopping and energized community events, including Jazz on the Green, Playing with Fire, and Miracle on Farnam, Greater Omaha’s newest holiday tradition.
