April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. In 2008, Prevent Child Abuse America started the nation-wide Pinwheels for Prevention awareness campaign. Pinwheels for Prevention provides local businesses and nonprofits with blue and silver pinwheels to display outdoors to bring awareness to child abuse and the ongoing need for prevention efforts across the country. PromiseShip works with other nonprofits to help spread the message. We provide pinwheels for no cost to businesses in the Omaha-area who would like to participate in this awareness campaign. There is no advertising or costs associated with the campaign – it’s simply to bring awareness to our community.
PromiseShip is happy to provide pinwheels for businesses in the Bellevue-area. They are standard plastic pinwheels. We typically display them throughout the month of April. Upon the conclusion of the month, business are welcome to keep or repurpose the pinwheels as desired.
