Paul Meyers Joins Lutz Team

Paul Meyers_BWLutz, an Omaha-based accounting and business solutions firm, is excited to announce Paul Meyers will be joining the firm in a business development role beginning September 1st.

Managing Shareholder, Mark Duren, commented “we are honored Paul has agreed to join the Lutz team to enhance our business development efforts, including Lutz Tech’s college athletics division. Paul was instrumental in assisting Lutz with the development of software for athletic department donor management implemented across the country by numerous Division I athletic programs.  His focus on building relationships and problem solving will provide another valuable solution for our current and potential clients”.

Meyers most recently served as the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Associate Athletic Director for Development.  He was involved with all operations of the Husker Athletic Development Department with a heavy emphasis on establishing and managing donor relations.  He guided the athletic fundraising efforts since 2000 including management of capital campaigns for athletic projects.  Under Meyer’s leadership over $250 million was raised for Nebraska Athletics by creating long-lasting relationships with donors.

Meyers earned his bachelor’s degree from UNL in business administration and was a three-time All-American baseball player for the Huskers. He played professional baseball for the San Francisco Giants before he returned to UNL as a Baseball coach.
