OneWorld Community Health Centers is proud to announce the hiring of Dulce Sherman as the new Human Resources & Organizational Development Director. Dulce joined OneWorld on January 6, 2016 and is located at OneWorld’s Livestock Exchange Campus, located at 4920 S. 30th Street.

Dulce earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management and Master of Arts in Management degrees from Bellevue University. She has over 20 years of experience in the Recruitment and Human Resources field, as well as the non-profit sector. Most recently, Dulce served as the Human Resources Director for the West Corporation where she provided leadership in recruitment, employee relations, organizational development, compliance, compensation and benefits. Dulce is currently a member of SHRM, HRAM and Latinas Unidas and previously served on the Omaha Tri-County Development Workforce the Board of Directors and College of Saint Mary’s Women’s Leadership Council.

Dulce will oversee Human Resources functions, including organizational and strategic planning, employee development programs, policies, and procedures covering: recruitment, wage and salary administration, personnel administration, training, benefits and services, and employee relations. In her spare time, Dulce enjoys entertaining, cooking and baking for family and friends. Dulce said she was drawn to OneWorld because of its mission-driven focus. “My passion has always been to work for an organization that truly cares and is making a difference in the community.
