LPN Licensed Practical Nurse / EMT Medical Technician – Pharmaceutical – Healthcare

As a Practical Nurse or Medical Technician on staff you are responsible for the medical evaluation of potential donors for automated plasmapheresis procedures. You will confirm donor suitability in a timely manner, consulting with a donor center physician as needed. You will provide limited emergency care including the administration of any medications or treatments in accordance with your certification, training and standard operating procedures.

Donor Floor Technician (Full-Time) The Donor Floor Technician is responsible for preparing the donor area for the plasmapheresis process (i.e., donor and equipment).   Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). Minimum of three months work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Strong customer service skills and the ability to understand and follow protocol are required.  

Medical Screener (Full-Time) The Medical Screener is responsible for registering new and current donors and conducting a series of screening procedures to determine suitability for plasma donation.    Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). 3 months experience in clerical or customer service position preferred. Must possess any licenses or certifications required by the state.

Processing Technician (Full-Time) The Processing Technician is responsible for the prompt and accurate collection, storage, and shipping of plasma bottles and samples.    Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). 3 months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred. The employee is required to repeatedly enter an environment with a temperature of -40°C for short periods of time.  

Phlebotomist (Full-Time) The Phlebotomist is responsible for executing the plasmapheresis process by performing venipunctures and maintaining compliance with SOP, current Good Manufacturing Procedures (cGMP), and regulatory guidelines.
