Starting one’s own business can be a daunting task, but also one of the most rewarding for anyone who has ever dreamed of being their own boss. Omaha Public Library (OPL) and the Small Business Administration (SBA) are partnering together to offer a series of workshops designed to help potential new business owners navigate the ins and outs of starting and maintaining a successful business. All workshops are free and registration is requested through the hosting OPL branch or at omahalibrary.org.

Take the Mystery out of SBA Loans: This seminar is designed to take the mystery out of applying for a federally guaranteed loan to start or grow your small business. Learn about what the SBA and banks are looking for in successful loan applicants, what you can (and can’t) do with an SBA-guaranteed loan, and what loan programs are available.
