Perkins Franchisee, CyHawk Hospitality, has opened its 16th Perkins Restaurant & Bakery located at 2545 Abbott Plaza, Omaha, Nebraska.

The newly constructed restaurant is conveniently situated between the airport and downtown areas and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Since becoming a Perkins franchisee in 2007, CyHawk Hospitality has experienced impressive growth. The family-run business also owns/operates two other Perkins Restaurants & Bakeries in Nebraska located at 3709 Osborne Drive West in Hastings and 1229 W. Omaha Avenue in Norfolk, as well as numerous other Perkins strategically situated in Iowa, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri and South Dakota. Work is currently underway on a 17th Perkins scheduled to open in Sioux Falls in the fall of 2018; and another in Lincoln, Nebraska planned for the spring of 2019.

As Perkins celebrates its 60th Diamond Anniversary this year, Jim Rahfaldt and his family have been involved with the brand for the past 25 years. Jim started out as a Corporate Regional Manager in 1994 and Nick and Matt grew up in the business. With the support of Kim Prowant, Vice President of Operations and Training, and Norvell Houston, Director of Food Quality, they are hands-on operators – in and out of their stores on a daily basis, always attuned to their guests’ needs, and strong proponents of Perkins’ company-wide culture of kindness served daily.
