Each year the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation recognizes outstanding restaurants around the country with its Restaurant Neighbor Award. This prestigious national award honors restaurants that go above and beyond in community service and aims to inspire other restaurateurs to get or stay involved in their local communities.
The Egg & I in Nebraska is one of the Nebraska Restaurant Neighbor Award winners and will now compete with other state winners across the country for the national award. Four national winners will receive a $5000 award to help support their favorite charity or community project.
Ass state winners will be profiled on the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation’s website, www.nraef.org, highlighting their community activities.
