Radio Talking Book was in the annual Millard Day Parade on the 27th of August 2016. Through an anonymous donation, the nonprofit was able to have a float in the long running parade, which was seen by those that annually attend one of the biggest community festivals in the Greater Omaha area.
This was a first for Radio Talking Book as they continuously strive to reach out into local communities across Nebraska &bring awareness to the blind and visually impaired. With the help of their closed circuit radio broadcasts RTBS is able to reach these same individuals so that they are able to still lead full productive lives.
