The Meet the Doctors Educational Program for Patients and Caregivers will include a series of topics that will help the patients and caregivers understand and define medical terms, their diagnosis as well as describe new treatments and clinical trials. By the end of the program, participants should also be able to discuss their diagnosis, subtype and treatment with members of their oncology team, family and friends as well as understand the survivorship issues and coping strategies that accompany a cancer diagnosis. The program will also identify support resources both locally with your cancer center as well as nationally through LLS.  The event is free, and includes a breakfast and light lunch. To register, Click Here or contact Jo Powers at Jo.Powers@LLS.org or 402-344-2242.
