Lutz Promotes Five to Director
Lutz has promoted five professionals to Director.
Stephanie Hand, PHR, is a Human Resources Director. She joined Lutz in 2005 and has over 15 years of experience. She is responsible for all facets of the Human Resources function including the vision and strategy necessary to attract, develop and retain talent. Hand has a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Minnesota and a Master’s degree in Communication from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Jared Hardy, CPA, is an Audit Director. He joined Lutz in 2005 and has 10 years of experience in public accounting. Hardy provides accounting, auditing and consulting services to privately-held companies and specializes in the construction, manufacturing, franchising and retail industries. Hardy has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
Scott Miller, CPA, is a Client Accounting Services Director. He joined Lutz in 2002. Miller provides business consulting for closely held companies and outsourced accounting replacement services. He specializes in the construction, restaurant, professional services and healthcare industries. Miller has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting, as well as a degree in Political Science from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
Russ Smith, CPA, is a Tax & Consulting Director. He joined Lutz in 2005 and has over 19 years of experience. He specializes in state income tax planning and compliance, and helps clients minimize state and local taxes through the use of incentives. Smith has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
Tara Wisdom is a Healthcare Consulting Director. She joined Lutz in 2013 and has over 16 years of professional accounting and healthcare consulting experience. She assists physician and hospital clients with practice management, compensation structures, buy-ins/outs, business plan developments and compliance to make sure healthcare practices are effectively managing operational costs and properly capturing revenue while staying compliant. Wisdom has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
