Lucky Bucket Brewing Company will celebrate its fans and the Omaha and Papillion/La Vista community this Friday with their fourth annual Bluegrass Beer-BQ. The event will be held at the Lucky Bucket Brewing Company and boasts 4 food vendors, 10 of their own beers on tap including the re-release of Children of the Corn, a limited edition member of the Single Batch Series. Live music from the local Omaha bluegrass band the Dirty River Ramblers will headline the event.

Lucky Bucket began this celebration in 2010 as a way to say “Thank You” to the local community that has shown their support for the local brewing company. It has grown each year and this year has added a bags tournament, live music, and free giveaways. “We really wanted to kick it up a notch and thought bringing in live music was definitely the way to go,” says Events Coordinator Addie Neman. “We’re lucky that we found an awesome local bluegrass band to perform and are excited to have them for this years fest.” The event also plays host to local food truck vendors such as 402 BBQ and Prairie Fire Pizza.

Established in 2008, Lucky Bucket Brewery has been dedicated to producing exceptional craft beer right here in the Omaha and La Vista area. The Beer-BQ has been a fun way to showcase what the brewery has been doing while providing a fun and safe atmosphere to enjoy their beer with friends. “People wait all year for us to release our American Red Ale Children of the Corn and this is usually the first opportunity for people to try it.” says President and Founder Jason Payne.

The event will be held at the brewery Friday August 15. Entry is $5 beforehand and $10 day of. This event is all ages, but you must be 21 to drink. Tickets can be purchased at www.luckybucketbeerbq.eventbrite.com or in the Lucky Bucket tasting room.
