Looking for Spanish and German Speakers

Hello All! 

We are new here to the Chamber of Commerce but we already feel at home with all of the support that we have been receiving! 

My name is Leah Whitney I am the CEO and Founder of a new language and cultural center in Omaha called World Speaks. Worlds Speaks Omaha is 501 C3 non-profit organization that offers affordable language learning to the community. It is here that the people who live in our great city will learn about their neighbors and people all around the world. World Speaks currently offers classes and tutoring in the languages of American Sign Language, Hindi, French, and Spanish. 
 
World Speaks operates on people in the community who would like to volunteer their time teaching languages. We have an individual who would like to learn the language of German, we are looking for a volunteer who could meet with her about once a week so she can start her journey in this wonderful language.
 
We are also looking for two more Spanish teachers to join our volunteer team! The time commitment would be 2-4 hours weekly.  Classes will begin either the end of September or beginning of October. The book on which a person is to create lessons from has already been selected. We encourage our teachers to engage our students in a way that is fun, interactive, and challenging.
