Celebrate the best that Omaha has to offer with Omaha Magazine’s inaugural Best of Omaha Festival on Saturday, October 11, at the Ralston Arena.

The event, which starts at 3 p.m., will showcase the winners from the magazine’s Best of Omaha contest, undoubtedly the premiere contest of its kind in Omaha. Come check out the city’s best products and services while listening to live entertainment, sipping on craft beers and cocktails, and snacking on food from some of the best local eateries.

“We wanted to bring Best of Omaha to life and we are doing that with this festival,” says Erin Cox, Omaha Magazine’s Event Director. “We have a lot of fun planned, including local bands, ?re dancers, comedians, and lots a big giveaways.”

Guests will receive two vouchers for free drinks with each ticket purchase.

Prizes include season tickets to Men’s and Women’s Creighton Basketball, Kansas City Chiefs home game tickets, Club Level Husker football tickets with parking passes, and much more.

“We’ve changed the Best of Omaha contest a bit this year, including a new category, ‘Festival Favorite,’ to be voted on the day of the event by the public,” notes Todd Lemke, publisher of Omaha Magazine. “We want to make sure the vendors are interacting with attendees so they can experience the best. We think having this new category helps accomplish that.”

With eight different categories for Best of Omaha including nightlife, family, dining, household, health and beauty, retail, services, and transportation, there is sure to be something for everyone. Plus, if you’re one of the ?rst 1,000 people to arrive, you’ll receive a swag bag ?lled with $100 worth of gift cards and goodies.
