“Brand Name HR: Giving Your Function Life and Purpose!”

HR has a “brand” which it can develop, utilize and leverage within organizations. This is needed so that HR can function in a business capacity as a partner in helping your organization grow, evolve and succeed. Having a defined brand will also allow for the integration of HR throughout all levels of an organization. This session will show you how to:

  • Transition from “Soft Skills” to “Relevant Skills”: The first step in establishing the HR Brand is to position ourselves in a new way where we show the business skills we bring to our role and the organization.
  • Develop and Define Your HR Brand: This will look at how HR is currently viewed by senior management in your organization and then see how/why it should shift to a branded position.
  • Make Your Brand Come to Life: These are takeaways you will create during the session on setting the steps of making your brand move from design to action.
  • Integrate Your Brand with the Company Brand: Learn how you can make the HR/employment brand support and promote the overall brand of your organization.

This Program has been pre-approved for 2.0 PDCs from SHRM’s NEW Professional Development Certification and 2.0 hours of HR BUSINESS recertification credit from HR Certification Institute.
