HRAM Government Affairs November Morning Session

Steve Bogue, McGrath North, will be presenting on “Absenteeism in the Workplace”. Controlling attendance and absenteeism has always been a pressing issue for employers, along with how to mitigate risk. The various protections offered by the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Family and Medical Leave Act, in particular, have made the process much more difficult. This presentation will focus on what tools are available to employers to control, at least in part, such absenteeism, while complying with federal law.
This Session has been submitted for 1.5 hours of HR CREDIT from the HR Certification Institute and has been pre-approved for 1.5 PDCs for the SHRM-CPSM or SHRM-SCPSM.
