HRAM Government Affairs May Morning Session

Matt Lathrop, an attorney with Miller Lathrop will speak on “Velvet Glove or Iron Fist?” How a claims representative or H.R. professional handles a Worker’s Compensation claim can lead to expensive consequences for an employer including penalties, attorney’s fees and costs. This session will provide insight to dealing with claimants and their attorneys in the context of disputed, and non-disputed claims. Mr. Lathrop will share his experiences with clients to assist you in reducing the risk of a suit or settlement, or worse in the workplace.
