Title:  “OSHA Recordkeeping”

TOPIC: Did you know that if you have 11 or more employees and are not in an exempt industry you are required to maintain OSHA logs and post an OSHA Form 300A by February 1st each year? Failure to maintain or doing so incorrectly can lead to large fines. This webinar will provide an outline of the recordkeeping process and will identify resources to guide your company towards compliance.

What will be covered:

  • Brief discussion of the scope of OSHA’s recordkeeping rules including partial exemptions
  • Review of the OSHA forms 300, 300A and 301Identification of the criteria to use for determining which injuries and illnesses are to be recorded
  • OSHA record retention and record updating requirements
  • Provide sources for additional information on this topic

Who will benefit:

Human resources professionals, safety directors, workers’ compensation administrators, or any other professional responsible for the completion and maintenance of injuries and illnesses records for OSHA compliance.

About the Presenter

Joe has nearly 10 years of experience in the areas of safety and loss prevention with a focus on both people and property in a variety of general industry and construction environments.  This has included performing jobsite compliance and best practice surveys, reviewing, developing and delivering employee training and reviewing injury data to identify trends and make recommendations on prevention strategies.  Joe is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. He is a member of the National Safety Council Nebraska Chapter, the American Society of Safety Engineers and the National Fire Protection Association. He looks forward to assisting clients with the continual improvement of their current risk program.
