Leadership Resources is pleased to announce that Alex Garcia has joined their team as a Strategic Growth Specialist. In his role, Garcia will work with organizations and their leaders to develop a clear vision and a strategic plan for growth, along with individual coaching.       

Garcia spent over 30 years in the Air Force working a variety of management and leadership positions in logistics, business operations, recreation services, and human services. At one point in his military career he was selected to command a squadron of over 350 people, 35 different operations, and a multi-million-dollar budget. His final years in the military offered him a unique chance to join NATO where he audited and provided advice to the 28-member Nations. Garcia was previously with the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, serving as the Director of Human Resources and Development.       

As an active student of life-long learning, Garcia is continuously seeking out educational opportunities. He earned his Master’s Degree in Counseling, a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, and an Associate’s Degree in Logistic Management. Garcia also attended professional development programs in the military to include Airmen Leadership School, Noncommissioned Officer’s Academy, Squadron Officer School, Air Command and Staff College, Air War College, and Joint Forces Staff College. He is also a certified executive coach through the Center for Executive Coaching.
