Prairie Life Fitness is pumped to present an exciting, new group exercise offering – a free mid-week workout (and Happy Hour reward) that will propel participants toward the weekend. Wednesdays Warm Up / Cool Down launches at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6 – and will run every Wednesday through July 29.

The energetic new experience is free and open to the public. (Attendees need not be a Prairie Life member to attend.) Participants will meet at the Pavilion stage and work out in Turner Park for 45 minutes to an hour. Afterward, they can shift to the “cool down” portion of the evening. A designated Midtown Crossing restaurant will be offering exclusive Happy Hour specials each week.

“This is such a fun way to get the community together and get those workouts in. Been dying to try Zumba? Come on down! Not sure what a HIIT class involves? Our top-notch instructors are going to take you through it,” said Carrie Hoops, general manager, Prairie Life Fitness.

Each of the Wednesdays Warm Up / Cool Down sessions will feature a specific type of workout:

· May 6 – Zumba
· May 13 – Pound
· May 20 – Turbo kick
· May 27 – HIIT (high-intensity interval training)
· June 3 – Pound
· June 10 – Boot camp
· June 17 – Mixxedfit
· June 24 – Zumba
· July 1 – Barre
· July 8 – Mixxedfit
· July 15 – Tabata
· July 22 – Pilates
· July 29 – Sports conditioning

Midtown Crossing. Five years old. And just getting started. This is what a strong urban core looks like – a diverse neighborhood where restaurants and retail, community events and individual experiences come to life. An energetic embrace when you want to live loudly, a quiet escape when you don’t. We’re dinner conversation with friends and shopping you won’t find anywhere else. 16 acres of life’s little extras: activity, serenity, community. Perfectly centered. East of expected.
