MindSet, an Omaha-based leadership and consultation company will this fall be offering the MindSet Leadership Series.  Led by MindSet developer and owner, Dr. Kim Hoogeveen, this unique learning opportunity will offer attendees a close look behind the curtain at both the leadership philosophy and specific operational techniques that have shown the ability to create and protect incredibly healthy workplace cultures.

Dr. Hoogeveen has become widely recognized as one of the premier thought leaders in the nation on leadership and culture.  Now in wide demand as a consultant and speaker, his MindSet leadership approach has resulted in QLI, the company he founded in 1987, to have now been recognized five-times as the #1 Best Place to Work in Omaha.

Scott Moore, Baird Holm partner and founder of the Best Places to Work survey, commented that, “Any organization that has a goal to improve its work culture should consider having at least one or two key leaders attend the MindSet Leadership Series.  They will benefit greatly.”

Blake Hoogeveen, a MindSet partner, explained that the series will have limited seating since the goal is to work with a focused group of leaders who are passionate about the topic of cultural health and to understand its direct tie to financial success.   “We want to provide our attendees with an unusual opportunity to learn the MindSet approach in-depth, and also have the chance to learn from one another.  We want attendees to leave the series as a cohort group – all of whom have grown as leaders and established some valuable, lasting friendships.”

MindSet has worked with numerous large companies and has presented training in many shorter forums, but this is the first time that an in-depth exposure to MindSet is being offered to individuals from a variety of companies.  Hoogeveen explained that the series is being offered in response to many requests that MindSet offer an open clinic were individuals from a variety of companies can register to attend.

The training will be offered over five half days starting October 20th, and it will be held at the Embassy Suites in La Vista.  The five training sessions will be held every two weeks, allowing attendees time to absorb the material and build momentum over the two months the series will run.   Topics include employee selection, dynamic compensation strategies, enhancing employee performance, instilling pride, improving team chemistry, better decision making-processes, handling conflict, and effectively addressing employee performance issues.

Attendees will develop new leadership insights and build relationships with other talented folks who “get it” when it comes to leadership and culture.   Hoogeveen noted that one of the best endorsements MindSet has received is that both QLI and Fusion Medical Staffing, the #1 Best Places to Work in Omaha in the large and midsize companies, respectively, will each have leaders attending the series.  Hoogeveen explained, “They will be great contributors and it reflects what we often see: the best companies are always eager to become even better with respect to motivating and retaining great talent!”

Alicia Elson, Vice President of Human Resources at QLI, encouraged leaders to take advantage if this unique opportunity: “I have had the chance to see the power of MindSet’s leadership insights and techniques working every day.  I love that more leaders are now going to have the chance to learn MindSet at a deeper level.  There is no doubt that they will come away with a much better understanding of what it takes to attract, build, retain, and motivate great employees.”

You can register for the Series by going to www.GoMindSet.com.  MindSet now anticipates registration for this October Series to be sold out by the end of September, but plans to offer the series again in the spring of 2016.

Target audience:  CEOs, business owners, HR directors/leaders, and other top executives who have significant leadership responsibilities.
