Concord Mediation Center will host its 4th annual Family Holiday Movie Night on Thursday, December 4, at Aksarben Cinema, 2110 S. 67th Street. Doors open and pre-film activities begin at 6 p.m., the movie will start promptly at 6:30 p.m. and raffle prize drawings take place following the movie.

We will show the movie holiday classic “Home Alone,” following by raffle drawings for movie-themed prizes.

Proceeds from this event support non-profit Concord Mediation Center, located at 4225 N. 90th Street in Omaha.

We provide people in Douglas and Sarpy Counties with innovative, affordable and cooperative ways to resolve differences and transform relationships. Each year, we help thousands of people from a wide variety of backgrounds. Concord Mediation Center works with:

  • families experiencing the crisis of divorce to reach peaceful, healthy custody and visitation agreements;
  • first-time juvenile offenders, guiding them to see the harm caused by their crimes, rebuilding trust and stopping the cycle of recidivism;
  • neighbors facing property disputes in small claims court;
  • various professional teams, by coordinating the efforts of agencies, attorneys, therapists and others supporting parents and their children who have been removed from the home;
  • companies challenged with internal employee disputes, learning new ways to communicate and seeing disagreements as a way to grow;
  • relatives navigating elder care issues, assisting them as family members formulate plans to address issues of medical needs, residential requirements and managing finances.

We are committed to turning no one away because of their inability to pay for our services. Generous financial support helps underwrite the cost of services.

Movie tickets are $10 each. Movie tickets, along with a small popcorn and a small soda are $15 each. Raffle tickets are $5 each.

To purchase tickets or for more information, call 402-345-1131 or email contact@concord-center.com.
