Village Canvas and Cabernet, Omaha’s first “paint and sip” shop celebrated its 2-year anniversary on September 14th.

Owners John and Kathy Byrnes talk about the evolution of the business since its opening.

“We’ve expanded our events in ways we didn’t expect–especially corporate team building, which has become one of our most popular offerings”, said Kathy Byrnes, CEO. “We have been developing very unique, results-driven events for companies of all sizes using canvas and paints, and the outcomes are surpassing expectations.”

Partnering with local businesses has grown every quarter, and finding linkages with different companies has proven fruitful. “The idea of holding events for visiting conferences, at local restaurants, Lauritzen Gardens, and more has evolved and helps reach a broader audience.”

The couple are excited for what the future holds for the business in the coming years, and feels the continued growth in Aksarben Village will contribute to its success.
