Omaha’s favorite summer concert and fireworks show will kick off the area’s Fourth of July festivities this year. Bank of the West Celebrates America free outdoor concert and fireworks show is Friday, July 1, 2016. Bank of the West Celebrates America features legendary musical talent followed by a must-see fireworks finale in Omaha’s beautiful Memorial Park. 

“We are proud to host the 26th year of Bank of the West Celebrates America. Over the years, this much-anticipated event has grown into a family-and-friends tradition,” says Robert Dalrymple, executive vice president for Bank of the West’s Midwest Division. “We are pleased to present a fantastic concert featuring national music icons and one of the best fireworks shows in the region to celebrate America’s Independence Day and our great community. It’s our way of saying ‘thank you’ to Omaha, the region and to our valued customers.” 

The musical talent performing at this year’s event will be announced later this spring. Bank of the West Celebrates America attracts more than 70,000 people annually, and is hosted in cooperation with the City of Omaha. Over the past 25 years, more than 50 nationally acclaimed bands have entertained audiences at this summer concert tradition.
