Midwest Woodworkers will host our 7th annual Woodworking Art Show
Saturday, August 27th from 9:00am to 5:00pm

To celebrate local artists Midwest Woodworkers will again be hosting a one day woodworking art show and sale.
Local woodworking artists will be exhibiting and selling a diverse mix of hand crafted art objects made of wood. “We have some incredibly talented woodworkers in this area” says Gerry Phelan, the owner of Midwest Woodworkers, “and this is a way to showcase their work.”
The show features hand crafted wooden works of art by local artists. It will be a diverse mix of woodworking specialties including furniture, turned vases and bowls, carving, segmented turning and exotic wood boxes and even violins and pool cues!
The show is free!
The public is welcome to enjoy the show, view the exhibits and meet and talk with the artists. There will be live chainsaw carving and wood turning demonstrations along with a unique demonstration of fractal wood burning – applying high voltage electricity to burn designs into wood.
