Omaha Symphony, Opera Omaha, Salem Baptist Church and 16 Nebraska High School Theatre Awards Students To Perform
 
The full lineup of the Celebrate 10 Concert starring Kristin Chenoweth has been announced. The concert on October 16, 2015, at 8:00 p.m. celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Holland Performing Arts Center and 10 full seasons of performances presented by Omaha Performing Arts. Tickets to Celebrate 10 Concert start at $60 and are available at Ticket Omaha* at 402.345.0606, TicketOmaha.com or the Ticket Omaha office inside the Holland Performing Arts Center at 13th and Douglas streets. Special thanks to Celebrate 10 hospitality sponsor Hotel Deco.

The Celebrate 10 Concert will feature Emmy®- and Tony Award®-winning Chenoweth performing with a big band. The evening will also include performances by local performing arts groups: Opera Omaha, Ballet Nebraska, the Omaha Symphony and Salem Baptist Church. Additional performances will be by the aerial dance company BANDALOOP and acclaimed composer and musician Daniel Bernard Roumain.

Sixteen participants from the first two years of the Nebraska High School Theatre Awards program will perform at the event, as well. They are: David Beran, Doane College (alum of Gretna High School and 2014 NHSTA National Nominee); Emma Kate Brown, Elkhorn South High School (2015 NHSTA National Nominee); Matthew Hakel, Lincoln Southwest High School; Noah Jeffery, Creighton Preparatory High School; Lauren Johnson, Bellevue West High School; Madeline Lacey, Nebraska Wesleyan University (alum of Blair High School); Nora Larson, Lincoln Southeast High School; Ryan McCann, Omaha William Jennings Bryan High School; Matthew Pohlman, V. J. & Angela Skutt Catholic High School; Josie Ptacek, Plattsmouth High School; Karen Richards, University of Nebraska Lincoln (alum of West Point Central Catholic High School); Ally Sargus, Papillion LaVista High School; Ryan Savage, Elkhorn High School; Jonathan Smith, Omaha Northwest High School; Scott Strigenz, Platteview High School; and Nadia Williams, Omaha Burke High School.
