Albers Communications Group, an Omaha-based, full service public relations, digital marketing and video firm, has recently appointed a new executive team.
Gina Pappas, who joined the company in 2009 to establish and lead its digital division, has been named company president, while Dani Hatfield, who has been an account manager with Albers since 2012, is the new vice president.
Established in 2000 by the late Tom Albers, Albers has won many industry awards over the years, including the prestigious Silver Anvil award, designated by the Public Relations Society of America. Earlier this month, Mr. Albers was posthumously awarded the PRSA Professional of the Year by the organization’s Nebraska chapter.
“Tom was a passionate and tireless champion of Omaha businesses,” says Pappas, who, in her new role, will oversee all aspects of company operations and new business development. “We are looking forward to building upon his legacy and continuing to serve the Omaha business community and beyond.”
