Informal meet-ups facilitated by AIM with short, impromptu presentations and conversations provided by

YOU.

Anyone interested in technology is welcome and encouraged to attend.

The concept is simple: Meet. Talk. Connect.

Talk
Everyone that shows up will have two minutes to tell a quick, off-the-cuff story (to the group) about a creative way you personally or professionally use technology.

BYOD
Props are welcome, but not necessary (unless you are showing us something specific, like a new app, bluetooth device, etc.). If you use props, it’s a BYOD (bring your own device) event and no actual technology will be provided (only because we want to keep things simple). Furthermore, this is as much about building relationships as it is a tech show-and-tell.

Think of it as a celebration of the creators and users of tech.

Connect
After everyone shares, we’ll leave some time to chat with others so more ideas can be exchanged and conversations can continue around the topics that were presented.

Why?
The purpose of these talks is to provide a time and place to build new relationships, talk about some tech, and create new collaborations or mutually beneficial opportunities. We ultimately want to give people the opportunity to share more about themselves, their businesses, and most importantly – their ideas – using talk about tech as the catalyst.

Easy
The ticket for admission is very reasonable – one business card (or at least your name and email address) – because we want to make sure you’re invited to join us for future talks! Bring several business cards though…there will be a lot of great conversation and ideas exchanged…and you never know who you may meet and want to follow up with!

Mission
Tech Talks are designed to be a new and spontaneous way to bring to life in the Omaha area. Through the promotion of technology we will connect the people that use and create it. Our goal is to create a fun, recurring opportunity to get people together in a non-scheduled way…so stay tuned, you never know when the next one will be announced.
