Sprint it, run it or walk it….
The 4th Annual Donate Life Nebraska 5K Run and Heroes’ Walk will be held at the beautiful Aksarben Village, Stinson Park in southwest Omaha on Saturday, April 18, 2015. The purpose of this annual event is to help inspire and motivate people to sign-up on the state donor registry and provide hope to the more than 400 people on the waiting list in Nebraska.
Participants will experience a unique 5K run with breathtaking scenic views on a paved route that is perfect for strollers and runners alike! Chip-timing will be available for all runners who are interested in tracking their time.
The Heroes’ Walk will honor both living donors who have elected to give the greatest gift of all – LIFE, and the families that have graciously elected to donate organs, eyes and tissue of loved ones to benefit those in need.
This is a fun, family friendly event with music, face painting and other activities for all involved.
