We are pleased to invite you to the 23rd Annual Well Workplace Awards Luncheon! WELCOM and Nebraska Methodist College also invite you to spend the entire day with us by attending the first annual Pathways to Wellbeing Symposium that will begin at 8:00 a.m. and conclude at 4:00 p.m. We hope you join us for this exciting day!

The Well Workplace Awards Luncheon provides the opportunity to honor local businesses that have received the Well Workplace Award. This award is given to companies who demonstrate outstanding efforts in addressing employee health at the workplace. Companies are able to achieve a Well Workplace Award at five levels: Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Small Business. In addition to award distribution, this event features a keynote speaker for attendees.

This year’s Well Workplace Awards Luncheon guest speaker is Dr. Shane J. Lopez. Shane J. Lopez, Ph.D., is the world’s leading researcher on hope. His mission is to teach people that investing in their future pays off today. Dr. Lopez is a Gallup Senior Scientist and Research Director for the Clifton Strengths Institute. He is coauthor of the statistical reports for the Clifton StrengthsFinder and the Clifton Youth StrengthsExplorer. He is also the author of, Making Hope Happen: Create the Future You Want in Business and Life, which details how hope can be learned and spread to others. With its cutting-edge research and inspiring true stories of people who create better lives for themselves, their families, and their communities, Making Hope Happen is the first practical guide to the anatomy of hope—how to create, use, and share it.
