ASHLAND, NE — The Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, Greater Omaha Chamber and Nebraska Chamber of Commerce & Industry are excited to welcome William Evanina, Director of the National Counterintelligence and Security Center Office of the Director of National Intelligence, as the keynote speaker at the upcoming Federal Legislative Summit later this summer.

The 11th Annual Federal Legislative Summit will take place on Thursday, August 8 at the Strategic Air & Space Museum in Ashland, NE. The region’s most anticipated advocacy event of the year will feature an update from Nebraska’s Congressional delegation on federal issues facing Nebraskans in Washington D.C.

Evanina is currently the Director of the National Counterintelligence and Security Center. Mr. Evanina has led the organization since June 2014, serving as head of Counterintelligence for the U.S. Government and as the principal CI and security advisor to the Director of National Intelligence. He has over 23 years of distinguished federal service, 20 of which came as a Special Agent with the FBI.

Governor Pete Ricketts will deliver opening remarks at 9:35 a.m. with reports from Nebraska’s Congressional delegation to follow and Director Evanina’s keynote address at 11:45 a.m. Doors open for the event at 8:30 a.m. with the program running until 12:30 p.m.
