Carson Wealth’s Commitment to Growth, Omaha and Its People
Carson Wealth has grown from a local financial advisory firm into a multi-entity enterprise with more than 500 employees serving more than 52,000 families across the country.
“We started as this beautiful wealth management business, but we are entrepreneurs at heart and we want to continue growing,” said Paul West, managing partner of Carson Wealth Management Omaha and chair-elect & secretary of the Omaha Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
In addition to wealth management, the company operates a coaching division for financial advisors and a partnership program.
Carson Wealth’s presence in Omaha has expanded significantly, including through its expansive workforce and its recognizable headquarters near 144th Street and West Dodge Road.
Carson Wealth is deeply invested in the Omaha community, including through philanthropic and educational initiatives.
“We’ve worked with all the major universities here… trying to help with their students having potential careers with us,” West said. “It’s not just being an adviser. We have so many departments from marketing to operations to finance.”
Through the Rock the Street, Wall Street program, they bring financial career information to area high school students, helping to cultivate future financial professionals.
“It’s really cool to watch them go from knowing nothing about what we do to inspiring them to want to come into this career,” West said.

Beyond workforce development, Carson Wealth supports numerous local nonprofits by offering its facility for community events, reinforcing its commitment to Omaha’s growth.
“If our employees are giving their time and talent to causes and movements that are important to them, we want to help provide some space for them to do that,” West said. “We really want to reinvest back in them.”
Carson Wealth is an active and significant investor in the Greater Omaha Chamber, and that investment has benefited both the company and the local business community.
“It’s been amazing to have some fellow managing partners, CEOs and presidents that I can lean on,” West said. “Having that network means you’re not alone. It is really cool.”
Other benefits include financial initiatives that helped Carson Wealth save money and Chamber programming that benefits Carson employees. The YP Summit and other events ensure Carson employees have opportunities to engage with the broader Omaha business network.
West stressed that many business owners aren’t fully aware of the Chamber’s impact on economic development, which includes public policy and business advocacy, including Nebraska’s recent income tax reductions.
“I think a lot of people don’t realize how much the Chamber does to advocate for the business community with our state legislature,” West said.
West encouraged business owners to take advantage of the Chamber’s networking and support resources, emphasizing that entrepreneurship can feel isolating without a strong business community.
“Being a business owner can be lonely at times. It’s sometimes hard to see the picture when you’re inside the frame,” West said. “Sometimes, you step out and go to those Chamber events, and it could give you a great idea or approach or friend that could make a huge difference for your business.”
