The Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Council is comprised of next generation leaders 40 and under who want to impact the community and work together to contribute to our city's growth.

How do I get involved?
Sign up for the monthly e-newsletter and stay informed on what's happening and attend events where you can meet the Council and get connected with other young professionals.

Do I have to be employed at a Chamber member company to be involved in the YPC?
You do not have to be employed by a Chamber member company to participate on any of the YPCs committees as a volunteer. However, to serve on the Council Board, you must be employed by a Chamber member company.

Is there a membership fee?
The YPC is not a dues paying organization, therefore there is no membership fee.

How is this group different than other young professional groups?
The Young Professionals Council is not a membership or dues paying organization. It is a task force led by young professionals dedicated to improving the Omaha for the greater young professional community and to attract, retain and engage this age group.

How much time do I have to commit if I volunteer on a committee?
The time commitment varies byproject team, however, most teams meet at least monthly.

How do I become a member of the Council Board?
To serve on the Young Professionals Council Board, candidates must be 40 and under and currently employed by a Chamber member company.

Applications to serve on the Young Professionals Council Board are accepted each fall.
