Nebraska's 101st Legislature convened Wednesday morning, Jan. 7, to begin a session scheduled to last until June 4.
Opening day activities were largely organizational, including the re-election of Sen. Mike Flood as Speaker of the Legislature and the election of Sen. John Wightman of Lexington as Executive Board Chairman.
