Minnesota-Based Ajasa Technologies Opening Office in North Omaha
Ajasa Technologies, Inc., a $35 million dollar information technology staffing and consulting firm based in Minnesota, celebrated the opening of their North Omaha office on May 3.
Tony Williamson, CEO, and Autumn Frasier, director of business development, at Ajasa Technologies, Inc., first visited Omaha a year ago. One of the first connections they made was with the Greater Omaha Economic Development Partnership. Winsley Durand, director of minority economic development, met them to begin presenting the benefits of doing business in Greater Omaha.
Durand and Mark Norman, senior director of business attraction and retention, introduced them to the Omaha market and walked them through an overview of development in Omaha and its key economic drivers. Ajasa determined that Omaha would be the right location for their second physical location — the firm has four virtual locations.
After becoming members of the Greater Omaha Chamber, they began using the services of the Chamber and Chamber members to establish their office.
The relationship cultivated by Durand demonstrates why he has become a “go-to” resource for contacts, introductions, information about procurement processes and assistance with public relations for many small businesses.
Ajasa indicated that the assistance received from the Partnership was invaluable and resulted in them making a more substantial investment in Omaha.
